Title
Limber Lost in Algonquin
Artist
Phil Chadwick
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
Limber means readily adaptable; a supple mind; a limber imagination and that is what I tried to do with this painting based loosely on the northeast shore of Little Clear Lake (#0593 Shore Sunrise) in Limberlost which is on the western flank of Algonquin Park. If you were lost it would be impossible to tell whether you were inside or outside the park. The trees, rocks and pretty little lakes all have that distinctive Algonquin charm. So with a limber mind and a desire to get lost in the painting, I might as well be on location in Algonquin Park on this cold February day.
It was really cold outside with the wind that had developed so I decided to play with a larger canvas.
