Description
A rain storm was on the way. After a weekend of dry, spring-like weather, the week was going to be very wet. I decided that I had better head out to paint while I had the chance. The sounds of spring were in full chorus with the ruffed grouse, geese and ducks. The spring peepers were still silent.
The low pressure centre was going to pass right over eastern Ontario with the heaviest rain along and within 50 miles north of the track of the low. The gravity waves within the anticyclonic curl of the deformation zone revealed that the warm conveyor belt had already reached far to the north. The weather is always fun to paint and interesting to watch.
