Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

I looked at the radar and decided that even though the numerical weather forecasts blanketed the region in convection and precipitation, that I still had time to paint. I headed out to the front yard and stood in exactly the same place as for number 1298 Stable Layer. It was very windy and I had to use a brick to hold down the easel.
The weather and clouds are always an inspiration. The line of thunderstorms approaching from the northwest would also be a good subject. This view is looking more northerly across the bay. An initial line of convection intensified as it crossed the lake but didn't drop any rain on my canvas. The wind kept the biting insects away. I used lots of paint!
The Canada geese and goslings watched me paint and only dove for cover when a hawk came by. A northern map turtle finished laying her eggs nearby so I protected them with a plastic grate. Painting outside surrounded by inspiration is always interesting.
I paint outside - nothing between my eyes and the inspiration. That special connectivity gets into the pigments and you quickly realize that we are all stewards of the land, privileged to appreciate its beauty during our lifetime but responsible for leaving the environment better off for the future and all inhabitants...
