This is looking southward along the path that was almost closed in by the boughs from each side reaching out to one another. The wind was continuing to increase and the boughs were dropping their snow load one by one. The westerly streets of turbulent stratocumulus were also increasing in number as the the low level air mass became increasingly unstable even given the weak February sun. Cloud streets become increasingly further apart as the bases of the cloud rise. This process allows more sun to poke through between the streets on what would otherwise be a cloudy day in the wake of the cold front.
