Artist's Description
I have painted Harold's Point from the other side in #2002 "Killbear Flagged Pines at Sunset". I really enjoy my time painting around Killbear Provincial Park. The nature and the natural environment are inspirational. The colours and the weather are always in a state of change. This view is looking eastward beside the jumping rocks Harolds Point at Killbear.
About Phil Chadwick
I paint outside - nothing between my eyes and the inspiration. That special connectivity gets into the pigments and you quickly realize that we are all stewards of the land, privileged to appreciate its beauty during our lifetime but responsible for leaving the environment better off for the future and all inhabitants... Phil was born and raised along the St. Lawrence of Ontario, Canada and studied at Queens University as a nuclear physicist. A meteorologist for Environment Canada for 35 years, Phil specializes in severe weather and training. Remote sensing is his forte - you might want to see a tornado before you die... but not just before you die! He has farmed, raised bees, written books and articles, lectured and instructed...

Beautifully done!. You inspire me. I would love, if You could let me know what you think about my work. ;-)
Phil Chadwick replied:
Thank you Jacek. We are all in this together. I will be happy to look at your work. One thing for sure is that every artist needs to be on their own path. I teach the mechanics and logistics of art - especially plein air but am careful to never steer another artist. I am thrilled to be able to inspire you... that is a great complement and a gift. Thank you!

Just gorgeous with all the textures and movement here...love the range of colors and how the brushstokes make such beautiful patterns like music...someday they will put paintings to music according to the ''sounds'' of the colors...your paintings will be symphonies! Great work, as always, Phil Chadwick! L/F/Pinterest
Phil Chadwick replied:
Thank you Sunny. I was working from a fresh palette. I add a new colour most times when I do so - a wild and crazy guy!
