Description
There is really no such thing as just another sunset. I have witnessed a lot of sunsets and I never get tired of them. The back lit turbulent stratocumulus were aligned along the northwesterly winds behind the cold front. I watched in awe as the shapes and colours transformed by the minute. The higher bands of altostratus were well beyond this unusual painting format - long and narrow. A band of dark turbulent stratocumulus stretched along the top of this panel contrasting with the reflection of the bright sky along the bottom.
I used a lot of paint on a very slippery surface. The colours and the shapes make the scene and I tried not to fiddle with the brush strokes.
