Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

This is number forty-five southward in the Canoe Lake Paddle as numbered along the path of the paddle. I was very surprised to see this lighthouse on the point of land south of Cook Island. There was a large bay with a beautiful southern exposure just around the corner from the light.

The dark clouds were getting more turbulent. Some of these shapes were created by the swirls of air formed by air being dragged downward with the precipitation. Vorticity in the atmosphere can have every imaginable orientation and the associated deformation zone edges are stretched all over the place. The conceptual models to explain these patterns apply at all scales though. It makes watching the clouds a lot of fun even if the shapes told me I was likely to get my pilgrimage rained on.

The feel of the painting is a strong function of the smooth but textured surface, the bold strokes and the aging oils. I was still working with the original palette of paint from several weeks before....
