Artist's Description
This is the fifth demonstration piece for the second week of teaching at the Southampton Art School. After they reassembled following lunch, I asked the group what they wanted to have demonstrated. This time the sky was appropriate. I wanted to illustrate the edges of clouds and waves as well as rolling of the brush and using sticks to put in detail.
The view is southwesterly from Scubby's Hill with streets of turbulent stratocumulus and lots of waves.
