I was out kayaking at 8 am on Wednesday September 16th, 2015. The fall fog was just starting to lift from the surface of Singleton Lake. The colours of the fog transforms rapidly as it lifts into stratus and then stratus fractus and eventually cumulus. I quite enjoyed witnessing the the transformation. The fall colours of the vegetation were also starting to emerge.
The westerly prevailing winds were clearly demonstrated in the flagging of the trees and the boughs that cling to life on the exposed point of marble. The trees get progressively more sparse as they venture out toward the end of the marble point.
