Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

It was still only 10 Celsius and the wind made it feel much colder. It was an awkward place to set up an easel but I liked the curve of the beaver dam in the foreground. I also enjoyed the colours in the trees and how they were reflected and refracted in the water. This was an active dam as witnessed by the fresh greenery added to the top of the dam. There were also some nearby fresh beaver "chews". Darn it was cold though! My hands can't take the cold ever since I froze them in the 1990's.
In Google and Map Source, this waterway is called the "Megazing River". I got the name from the road sign which I trust! "Mega" zing sounds like a modern, high pressure ad campaign for something that you don't need.
I paint outside - nothing between my eyes and the inspiration. That special connectivity gets into the pigments and you quickly realize that we are all stewards of the land, privileged to appreciate its beauty during our lifetime but responsible for leaving the environment better off for the future and all inhabitants... A meteorologist for Environment Canada for 35 years, Phil specializes in severe weather and training.
