Description
This is the view of the shore of Round Lake in the fall of the year from a canoe - the only way to view a lake. The canoe allows one to go quietly and slowly and to really experience the scene without influencing the nature much. It is kind of like Heisenberg's uncertainty principle.
In 1927, by the German physicist Werner Heisenberg stated that the more precisely the position of some particle is determined, the less precisely its momentum can be known, and vice versa. The uncertainty principle has been confused with a somewhat similar effect in physics, called the observer effect, which notes that measurements of certain systems cannot be made without affecting the systems. The canoe observation effect is minimal as opposed to a Ranger bass boat with a 250 HP Honda motor on the transom.
I was attracted to the patchy nature of the tree crowns creating a tapestry of colour. In addition, I just wanted to have some fun.
